Our team includes behavioural optometrist Debbie Vince, optical dispenser Cathy McKenzie and trainee Clare Butler. Cathy and Debbie have been working in the optical industry for more years than they would like to admit to! Clare is new to the profession and very enthusiastic to learn as much as possible.
Over the last few years Debbie realised that a conventional eye examination often does not address some visual problems related to learning, prompting her to study visual therapy and behavioural optometry. As a result she is now an accredited visual therapist and member of the Australian College of Behavioural optometry. She is a mother of two teenage sons, a wife and owner of two German Shepherds.
Cathy is a very experienced optical dispenser. She has a knack of finding the right frame for any face and her knowledge of spectacle lenses is phenomenal. Cathy’s family includes two adult children and two Maltese terriers.
Clare’s background is in accounting. She is extremely organised and enthusiastic about everything. Clare is a singer and dancer, wife, mother to two boys and owner of two spaniels.
